Cozy Cabin is an authentic log cabin situated on a cliff overlooking the south fork of the Shenandoah River. Built in 1950, our quaint cabin is located approximately 7 miles south of Front Royal, Virginia, also known as the “Canoe Capital of Virginia.”
The breathtaking view of the river from the front porch is only enhanced by the beauty of the Massanutten Mountains in the distance. The Front Royal area is rich in history and offers many unique and varied year round recreational and leisure activities. Locally, the warmer weather invites canoeing, tubing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and golf while the cooler temperatures yield opportunities for skiing, wine tasting, antiquing, and site-seeing.
• Firewood provided from September 1 to April 1 for a fire for each night of your stay
• Week rentals can not be Saturday to Saturday
• Three night minimum for following holiday weekends: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s
• Two night minimum for all other stays
• Check-in: anytime after 3pm
• Check-out: by 11am
• Pet-friendly with additional deposit of $65 per pet per stay.
• Outside camping is not allowed without written approval from the property manager
• Maximum number of overnight guests on the property is 4 people
• Our cabin is in the woods and you may encounter many types of wildlife and insects during your visit. We will not refund any payment due to these encounters outside or inside the cabin. Our cabin is serviced on a regular basis by an exterminator. If you are uncomfortable with this situation and choose to cancel your reservation upon the receipt of this notice, a full refund will be made. Please note our manager’s cancellation policy: 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
